Facilities

Libraries are available at both Richmond University campuses. Their opening times varying depending on the time of year, and at popular exam times, they’re open later than usual. Students can find 60,000 books and DVDs housed at the libraries, as well as 39,000 e-journals and 36,000 newspaper/newswire subscriptions. Computer-facilitated workstations are available, and students are able to book rooms for group study. We have a fully functioning fitness suite on the basement of the Main building. It is equipped with plenty of treadmills, weight machines and more. It is free for all Richmond students. In Kensington we have a partnership with Imperial University to use their gym (and SU bar) facilities.

On the Richmond campus there are three different catering services. Refresh is a coffee shop-like area that offers refreshments and food on the go. Some of the things you can find there are pre-made sandwiches and salads, coffee and drinks and many more. Restore is our main cafeteria, which serves three meals a day on weekdays, brunch on Saturday and brunch and dinner on Sunday. This is a full meal service and there is always a meat option, a vegetarian option, a salad bar, fresh fruit and vegetables, soup and various drinks. Richmond is an international university so every day the cuisine served changes. Starbucks is the third option and that is located in the library. Students that live on-campus can use their meal-plan in all three services and cash or card payment is accepted for anyone else that wants to use those services.
