We’ve invested more than £60 million in our campuses over recent years. The Student Gateway at Hope Park provides a central contact point for all student support services. Both teaching campuses feature a mixture of traditional, Grade II listed buildings and contemporary architecture housing modern facilities.
Our £8.5 million Health Sciences Building opened in January 2016. It houses specialist laboratory spaces dedicated to nutrition, genomics, cell biology and psychology, along with laboratories and space for sport and exercise science, including a 25-metre biomechanics sprint track.
Our £5.5million sports complex opened in October 2016 and features a six court, two storey main sports hall, gym/fitness rooms, strength and conditioning suite, changing facilities, squash courts, café, lecture theatres and retractable tiered spectator seating for show court events.
The Creative Campus is home to the state-of-the-art Capstone Theatre; the Grade II listed Cornerstone Building and Great Hall, accommodation, dance studios, music technology laboratories, recording studios, art and design studios and the Cornerstone Gallery. We are one of only six all-Steinway schools in UK higher education.
The new Physiotherapy and Sport Rehabilitation Clinic located in Hope Park Sports opened its doors. The Clinic is a new addition to the Faculty of Science, and provides students with the opportunity to put learning into practice. Staff and students can book appointments and receive treatment from qualified practitioners, as well as the new cohort of Sports Rehabilitation students.
