Voted by students as one of the best campuses in the UK (Studentcrowd 2018), our state-of-the-art facilities are continuously praised for their high quality. Over the last six years major campus developments include a £13m Technology Hub; £17m Creative Edge Building; £26m Catalyst building; £30m Sports Centre; a newly developed Arts Centre and new Geography and Biology laboratories. There are also plenty of subject specific facilities too, including a mock courtroom for Law students; a Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre for Health, Social Care and Medicine students; a Police Training and Simulation facility for Criminology and Policing students; and performance and rehearsal space for Arts students, of which the Arts Centre is one of the best equipped in the sector. Whichever subject you choose to study, you will be taught in a modern and inspiring learning environment with access to some of the best teaching and learning resources in higher education.

Within our new Catalyst building we also have a dedicated student support team, home to Learning Services, Student Services and Careers. Our support teams can help with almost any aspect of student life to ensure that you have a rewarding student experience and can achieve your full potential. As the university’s library it offers a range of work environments to enhance your studies as well as several high-performance workstations with access to specialised software.

All these facilities sit among historic architecture within landscaped grounds and lakes providing a unique and innovative place to study.
