Kings Medical School Open Days

Study Medicine at Kings College London

All of the pre-application open days at the Health Schools for this year have already taken place. However, King’s College London is taking part in the University of London open days at Senate House. This is a chance for potential applicants to get a feel for what it’s like to study at King’s. Ask staff and students questions about the course and work placements at various hospitals across London.

They will be offering guided campus tours. The School of Medicine is housed at the Guy’s campus so that is where you should head on the day. You will be met by a Student Ambassador and taken on a 20 minute tour. Medical facilities include lecture theatres, laboratories and dissection rooms. Many of these places can fit an entire year of students which average at about 400 people.

Can’t make the open day?

You can book to join a guided tour of the Guy’s campus. This will be led by students and includes a Q&A session so you should come away with all of your questions answered. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to look at any student accommodation or individual departments. These tours are held most Wednesdays and Fridays but check online for specific dates and times.

King’s College London also has a Virtual Open Day on their website. This provides students with a taster of some of the key aspects of studying at the university. You can watch a variety of films that will help you understand more about accommodation, the admissions process and studying and living at King’s. A virtual tour of each of the campuses is available so that you can look around all of the facilities.

Medicine offer holders will be invited to a post-offer open day which will display a range of presentations and events that will fill you in on everything to do with studying medicine at King’s College London.
