Construction Degree Courses

Construction and building degrees usually have a vocational element, and are suitable for those with the ability to problem solve, manage projects, take initiative, research and make strategic decisions.

There are no subject specific entry requirements, however, 120 UCAS points from A-level or equivalent. HND or HNC holders may also be considered for direct entry to 2nd year in some construction degrees.

Skills in planning and management with awareness of environmental issues, costs, regulations, leadership and technical expertise make construction graduates highly employable. Career prospects range from consultancy and contracting to setting up your own business.
