Five Things to Do For Under £10 in London

London is a vibrant, bustling city with plenty to see and do. All of this excitement doesn’t have to cost the earth either, as many of the attractions, exhibits, galleries and museums are free.

Not everything is free though and it’s important to figure out which attractions will give you the best value for money so you don’t waste your student budget.

If you’re taking a break from your studies and you do have some cash to spare, here are five things you can do in London which will cost you under £10:

  1. Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre

Standing tickets in the “Yard” are just £5, so although you may get a little tired, you’ll be right in the thick of the action.

  1. Emirates Air Line

View London from an urban cable car for just £3.40 (single ticket) or £8.40 (Emirates Air Line Discovery Experience). Just remember to take your 18+ Oyster Photocard to get those prices.

  1. Cruise the Thames

Single tickets start from £7 for students, giving you a unique way to travel around the city and see the sights at the same time. Returns cost a little more (£9.80), but you’ll still get a bargain.

  1. Take a walking tour

Go on any one of London’s walking tours for just £8 – just pick the one that interests you the most.
