Resonance is a brand-new music institute in the West Midlands. It has been created, and is supported, by the music industry to produce entrepreneurial, employable, career-ready graduates.
Our degrees are designed to prepare you for a career as a performer, producer, entrepreneur, engineer, songwriter, composer or teacher. All offer a blend of vocational learning and practical, hands-on experience.
Resonance is a not-for-profit organisation. All our income from fees and commercial activities is invested in teaching and learning, and providing the best possible experience for our students.
The purpose-built Resonance Cable Plaza campus is one of the best-equipped in the business, with industry-quality, full-size recording studios, teaching, practice and rehearsal rooms all digitally networked.
Our industry partners include national and international names like Roland, Focusrite, Yamaha, Marshall, M2 Studios, SSE, Boss, MIA, the Musicians’ Union, Natal and Total Solutions Group. They provide equipment, support and practical, hands-on commercial challenges for our students.
Our Cable Plaza campus is at the heart of the Black Country, home to some of the most influential musical legends of the last 50 years, including Led Zeppelin, ELO, Black Sabbath, UB40, Babylon Zoo and Beverley Knight.
