High quality teaching
Just 1 in 5 of the UK’s Higher Education providers achieved the Gold standard.
According to the government’s Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), Liverpool Hope University is, “of the highest quality found in the UK" and is "delivering consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students.”
Liverpool Hope’s Gold rating ranks it alongside institutions such as Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London, Bath and Lancaster.
We are in the top 10 of all UK universities for the percentage of academic staff with doctorates. More than a third of our research is rated as world leading or internationally excellent (Research Excellence Framework 2014).
We’ve invested £60 million in our campuses over the last 8 years. Our £8.5 million Health Sciences Building opened in January 2016 and our £5.5million sports complex is due to open in October 2016.

Latest figures from the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA), show a 1.7 percentage point rise on 2015/16 figures.
The 2016/17 statistics are drawn from the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education (DLHE) survey, which collects information on what leavers from higher education programmes are doing six months after qualifying from their course.
