High quality teaching
We’re top 5 in the UK for Teaching Quality (Sunday Times Good University Guide 2016). In the 2016 National Student Survey Liverpool Hope ranks top nationally for assessment and feedback, top two for academic support, top three for teaching, and top four for overall satisfaction . Of universities in the North West, Liverpool Hope tops the table in seven out of eight categories.
We are in the top 10 of all UK universities for the percentage of academic staff with doctorates. More than a third of our research is rated as world leading or internationally excellent (Research Excellence Framework 2014).
We’ve invested £60 million in our campuses over the last 8 years. Our £8.5 million Health Sciences Building opened in January 2016 and our £5.5million sports complex is due to open in October 2016.
A well-rounded education
We are ranked 1st in the North West for student satisfaction with personal development (NSS 2016), for the second year running. Students have access to opportunities including leadership training, career guidance and volunteering abroad.
