What will I study?

As well as a range of compulsory modules there are a wide selection of optional modules for you to choose from, which become more flexible as the course progresses.

What are my study options?

English Literature and English Language are both common subjects to combine with another subject if you’re interested in studying for joint honours.

Popular combinations include English Literature and American Studies, Media and English Literature, Politics and English Literature, and English Literature and History.


What are the entry requirements?

Swansea University looks at your academic record, your references, and your personal statement when considering your application, so you need to make sure these are as good as they can be.

Typical entry requirements are BBB – BBC with a B in Creative Writing, English Literature or the combined English Language and Literature A Level.


What are the tuition fees?
