The University College provides specialist study in health sciences at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, with state-of-the-art facilities, high quality teaching and a regarded level of professionalism. Students benefit from hands-on clinical experience at the on-site AECC University College Chiropractic Clinic, with case studies and patient observations. Work placements are provided to all final year students at the teaching clinic, where students see and treat patients under supervision. Other facilities include the School of Medical Ultrasound with specialist imaging services and the Bournemouth Open Upright MRI.
There are also opportunities for off campus placements with associations such as: European Space Agency, AFC Bournemouth, Bournemouth Rugby, Military, Local Athletics Clubs and Bournemouth Royal Hospital.
