University of Aberdeen

Visit the University of Aberdeen on an open day

Join us to see for yourself what the University of Aberdeen has to offer.

During the open day, there will be various talks from all of the university departments along with tours of the new library, sports village and other facilities. Talk to any of the academic staff and they will be happy to answer any of your questions. The majority of staff are still actively researching in their field so have a great deal of knowledge about their subject area.

Presentations on student life, finance, accommodation and applying through UCAS will also run throughout the day. Head on over to the admissions information stand to have all of your questions about getting a place at Aberdeen answered.

Join a campus tour at New Kings whenever you’re free and a student guide will take you round and show you the sights.

If you are going to be staying in Aberdeen the night before, there will be evening entertainment for you and a reception for your parents. This will give you the chance to meet other prospective students as well as current students and talk about university life at Aberdeen.

Can’t make the open day?

The University of Aberdeen has an open door policy so just contact the Student Recruitment and Admissions team to arrange an individual visit for a date and time that suits you.

They also host online open days and virtual chats where you can talk to staff and students without leaving your house. These online events usually show presentations and other content to help give you a better overview of the university.
