Outstanding Library Service

Newcastle’s library is one of the best in the country, we have won multiple awards for our excellent customer service. Our main library, the Philip Robinson, is open 24/7 during term time. We also have two specialist libraries, the Walton Medical and Dental Library and the Law Library. You can also study in the Marjorie Robinson Library Rooms with innovative digital learning spaces for individuals and groups.

IT facilities

Whether you want to work on an essay in a computer cluster, snapchat in the sun or need IT support and advice the University’s IT service can help. Free WIFI, over 3,000 computers and plenty of printers as well as helpful staff all make your student experience that much easier.

Learn the lingo

If you want to learn a new language at University you can even if its not part of your course. Our award-winning Language Resource Centre has self-study materials for over 150 courses!

We have one of the most comprehensive lecture capture services in the UK, to help you revisit material and enhance your understanding.
