Small class sizes
We have small class sizes that result in a relaxed and intimate feel giving you more opportunities to ask questions and join in discussions. You’ll also have better access to their fantastic lecturers, plus one-to-one support if you need it. The College’s TEF feedback highlighted they have “a personalised approach to learning through small class sizes and regular individual tutorials”.

We develop your commercial awareness through our extensive links with employers. We ensure your CV is given a boost with work placements and live client briefs. New College Durham has the highest student satisfaction rate in the region according to the 2019 National Student Survey. 95% of higher education students stated that they were satisfied with the overall quality of their course at New College Durham. The figure is an impressive 12% greater than the higher education sector and the regional averages, and 5% higher than the nearest North East rival.
