Part of the fun of studying a higher education course is the experience of living away from home. At Hadlow, student life is no different to any other university campus.
Maidstone - the county town of Kent and home to a diverse range of bars, clubs, theatres and cinemas, as well as over one million square feet of retail space – offers an ideal place for students to enjoy the social side of university.
Our new residential village, set in the heart of Maidstone, comprises en-suite rooms, dedicated car-parking and a communal lounge with Wi-Fi and sofas, is close to a mainline train station and on a direct bus route to College. It offers the perfect balance between the experience of living in town and studying at a rural institution.
In addition to the 160 rooms located within the Student Village set in the heart of the beautiful Hadlow campus, our Grove Farm complex, situated just over two and a half miles from the main campus, comprises 55 modern en-suite rooms with communal lounges and fully equipped kitchens. The rooms are located in four separate buildings each with its own security access system. Surrounded by countryside, it is situated next to our fisheries complex and plays home to a variety of wildlife and habitats.
Accommodation within Grove Farm is offered on a half-board basis which includes breakfast and a choice of either lunch or an evening meal. At weekends breakfast is included and lunch is available to buy. All meals are served on-site in the College restaurant which promotes healthy eating, provides a variety of options for a healthy diet and caters for all dietary requirements.
The cost of accommodation at Grove Farm is currently £125.00 per week for up to a 32 week let. There are a choice of accommodation packages available for our Maidstone accommodation ranging from £115 - £135 per week and the contract is for 36 weeks which includes the winter and spring vacations.
As soon as you have accepted your place with us, the Admissions Team will send you all the information you need to apply - this is usually from May onwards. Accommodation places are allocated from July. Due to the limited number of places available, early application is advisable.
